2014 Aloha Concert Luncheon Reservation Form

Hawaii Youth Symphony will be closing out its 49th season with our annual Aloha Concert Luncheon, featuring its top two youth symphony orchestras. Please join us as we bid aloha to our graduating seniors at their last HYS concert and senior recognition ceremony.

This year, Youth Symphony I will be joined by the Na Hoku award winning gypsy jazz group Hot Club of Hulaville (Duane Padilla, violin; Jeff Linsky & Sonny Silva, guitars). “Hot Club” music is a style that blends American swing, Café Tango, and traditional Roma (also known as ‘gypsy’) styles, and was played in Parisian hotels and clubs of the ‘30s and ‘40s. (Musicians like Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli are two notable artists whose music is iconic of the Hot Club style.)

Also, you won’t want to miss the great deals, yummy homemade treats and wonderful crafts at our Country Store, with proceeds benefiting Hawaii Youth Symphony programs.

10:30 am – Registration & “More in Store” Shopping
11:30 am – Lunch & Concert (YSI & YSII Performing)

The concert will follow lunch and end at approximately 2:45 pm

Please note that tables of ten are given priority seating over individual seat purchases.  If you have any questions, please call the HYS office at 941-9706.  We hope you’ll join us for this great day of music and joy!  Mahalo.
