Listen & Learn Concerts

The Hawaii Youth Symphony invites all educators and students to attend our annual “Listen & Learn” educational concerts. These 45-minute concerts are FREE and are the only live symphony concerts for students by students! Endorsed by the Department of Education, these school concerts include classical and pops music, instrument demonstrations and sing-a-longs. Teachers are provided with Teacher’s Guides, CDs and student worksheets to help students prepare for the concerts. Collateral materials help teachers meet current GLOs and state arts standards.

“Listen & Learn”  concerts are open to schools (private, public, charter or home school) and not the general public. If you would like your child to attend a “Listen & Learn” concert please pass this information on to their school teacher or principal. These concerts are very popular and fill quickly. Registration forms are available beginning the first week of September for Oahu concerts in December.
