Youth Make Symphony ¢ents

The students of the Hawaii Youth Symphony invite you to show your support for the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra at our music rally!

Thursday, February 7, 2008
from 3:45 to 5:30 pm
on the lawn fronting the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall

All members of the community are invited to attend. Students are encouraged to wear their HYS or shcool t-shirts. Musicians may bring their instruments for a performance of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" (sheet music located on the right). Starting at 3:30 pm, the first 100 cars can park for free at the Blaisdell parking lot by saying they are there for the Youth Symphony rally.

In addition to the rally, a group of HYS students have begun collecting donations for the Honolulu Symphony. Any HYS student interested in donating can turn in their donations at rehearsal to their concert parent or conductor. All others can bring their donations to the rally. Collected donations will be presented to a Honolulu Symphony representative at 4:45 pm during the rally.

For more information on the Honolulu Symphony visit their website at www.honolulusymphony.com.
