WHAT:
Maui Arts & Cultural Center Concert. Hawaii Youth Symphony will be celebrating President’s Day weekend with a free community concert at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 4 p.m.
Under the baton of HYS Music Director, Dr. John Devlin, Youth Symphony I will begin the performance with music composed by Michael-Thomas Foumai, masterworks by Beethoven, Copland, and Shostakovich. With accompaniment by Youth Symphony I students, the Maui concert will also feature a special guest performance by Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning artist, Raiatea Helm.
