OLA Symphony Orchestra

The OLA Symphony Orchestra is the flagship component of Hawaii Youth Symphony’s new  is proud to launch its new partnership with the National Orchestra Institute + Festival (NOI+F).

Session B: July 5 – July 14, 2019

The OLA Symphony Orchestra, the centerpiece of PMI Session B (July 6 – July 14, 2019), will be conducted by PMI Artistic Director Dr. John Devlin and OLA Conductor Richard Scerbo. The Symphony Orchestra is an advanced program for serious orchestral students.
All students will receive coaching from OLA Artist Faculty, including sectionals, masterclasses, and private lessons. Additional mentorship will be provided by OLA Teaching Fellows.

Download the schedule for all OLA Symphony and Symphonic Band activities. This schedule does include the optional social activities that students have already registered and paid for. Please note that all OLA Symphony Orchestra activities are at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Music Department. The concert will be at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.
